- Review the diagnostic classifications and criterion of the periodontal diseases
- Review the history of genetic studies
- Discuss the genetic mechanisms of periodontal loss
- Review the finding of the “Risk Stratification” in J Dent. research by Giannoble et al.
- Review the insurance industry’s response and organized dentistry’s response
- Look at the future of genetic research in periodontology
