1. Central District Dental Hygienists’ Society – Dorothy Lesher Scholarship
   • Criteria for Selection:  1) professional and ethical commitment and standards; 2) demonstrated academic abilities; 3) current American Dental Hygienist Association membership (student status); and 4) economic need.
   • Due October 27
   • Award amount: variable

2. Macomb District Dental Hygienists’ Society – Judith S. Luxmore Scholarship
   • Criteria for Selection: 1) first year student at the time of application; 2) exhibit good scholastic standing with minimum of 2.80 GPA; 3) current American Dental Hygienist Association membership (student status); 4) demonstrate leadership and involvement in school or community activities; and 5) have a Macomb County principle address.
   • Due May 1
   • Award amount: $1,000

3. Northland Dental Hygienists’ Society Scholarship
   • Criteria for Selection: 1) primary residence in Northwest Lower Michigan; 2) economic need; 3) professional and ethical commitment/standards; 4) demonstrated academic abilities; and 5) faculty recommendations.

   • Award amount: $750
